Valentina Dundaitė

Coordinator of Clinical Services

Valentina Dundaitė holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Biochemistry from Vilnius University. Her curiosity and desire to explore different fields from a young age led her to pursue two seemingly unrelated degrees. Biochemistry focuses on understanding the fundamental processes within the body and identifying commonalities across organisms, while Psychology delves into the study of the human mind, consciousness, interpersonal connections, and the understanding of individual uniqueness. This combined knowledge allows Valentina to take a holistic approach to understanding the person, always keeping in mind our innate instincts, essential survival processes, and the social skills we acquire throughout life. After completing her master’s degree in Health Psychology, Valentina plans to join the team of psychologists at the center. While she continues to build the necessary knowledge for counseling, she has joined Vilnius Psychology Center as a Coordinator of Clinical Services. “I am fascinated by the idea that Dr. Justina Dillon brought from the U.S.: ‘Psychological disorders can be healed, not just managed.’ I want this approach to become more popular in Lithuania and for there to be more specialists who have the knowledge and tools to heal, rather than just reduce visible symptoms.”
